We are dedicated to writing and performing music that is uplifting, hopeful and real. We want to be a resource for music fans who want to see positive change in themselves and in the world. The only people we can truly change is ourselves and if we as a band can provide a motivation or resource for someone to live a life that contributes positively to those around them, we will have been successful. This is what all of our music and our lives are about, a total life change, from one based on fulfilling selfish desires to one that is focused on serving others.
The band measures each decision against the following principals:
- Family and faith come first
- Provide the best recorded music and live performances every night
- Contribute positively to our community locally and globally
- Involve the audience in every show, and connect with them afterward
- Be open and honest in all business deals
- Sell well designed, quality merchandise at affordable prices

our past
Shortly after their formation in the fall of 2000 the band scraped together their cash to record a four song ep "PianoFORTE". The title embodied the sound. Minimalist verses giving way to big builds and crashing finishes. It was good enough to land them a record deal with an indie label out of Santa Cruz, CA in late 2001.
The deal with Bettie Rocket Records allowed them to mature and record a full length record called "high points and heartaches" but sadly never led to an official release. But with a newly recorded full length album in hand the band forged on. Releasing it themselves and performing constantly they built a fan base utilizing their website and the internet to reach those they might otherwise not meet.
In October 2004 alldaydrive again returned to the studio to record another four song ep. This album was the result of over a year of member changes, family growth and the completion of two college educations. "the quiet life ep" as it was titled, was the embodiment of the change that takes place as people grow. It was recorded live on two-inch analog tape and as a result it was raw, alive and honest. The band continued to play non-stop in Reno and Northern California getting a positive response to their music and ever changing merch from their expanding fan base. They released the album themselves as they shopped for a label to partner with.
In early 2006 alldaydrive returned to the studio to record a full length album. It was to be a culmination of the vision that began in 2000. After years of refining their sound the band has developed a unique take on rock and roll and a chemistry all their own. The record, "The New Sounds of Home" is a mixture of big rock songs and easy going melodies. The sound is as varied as the music but the underlying tone is a driving relentless adherence to good rhythms, solid hooks and catchy melodies. This brings us to the present.
