alldaydrive "Piano Forte" (Independent)

With this five song EP, alldaydrive has arrived on the independent scene with a force. Combining emotionally draining & completely emotive mellowness that lulls you into a deep sleep, with charging rock snarl that bites your ear off, kicks you in the pants and completely wakes you up. Reminiscent of early Sunny Day Real Estate with a more normal voice, these four boys create rock songs that shout at you, whisper softly to you, and subliminally convince you that alldaydrive is the next big thing. Songs that you can slow dance to one minute, and run your head through the wall to the next. An emotional bungee jump, that takes you up so quickly only to send you flying down just as quickly. Nothing too crazy here, just greatly constructed rock songs with your basic 2 guitar, bass & drums set up (yes, one song does have piano too). Lyrically these boys sing about life from a Christian perspective. alldaydrive is definitely a band to keep your eyes on.
